Our Team

We're an interdisciplinary team of UCSD students working with the Global TIES program to create a robust, easy-to-use hardware and software system that utilizes computer vision to automatically detect eye diseases in children.

Who We Work For

Our client is Save Our Children's Sight, a program that works closely with the Shiley Eye Center to provide an unprecedented model for community health by overcoming barriers to care for the underserved. Save Our Children's Sight accomplishes it's mission of providing low-income children aged 2-6 the vision they need to succeed in life by identifying, treating, and preventing vision disorders.

What We Do

We're combining specialized hardware and software to create a digital vision screening system that automatically detects the presence of eye diseases such as amblyopia, strabismus, and cataracts.
